Welcome to Bulbagarden Archives, Kenji-girl. Please read the checklist when you upload media files, and be sure to tag all images. - 振霖T 07:28, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

When using tags, just use the template inclusion syntax. There is no need to copy the content of the tags out completely. - 振霖T 22:33, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

That means using double brackets ({{), the template title, and the closing double brackets (}}). TTEchidna 22:38, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

You are usually pretty good at this but...

categorize all uploads with as many categories as possible. This will help prevent duplicates from showing up. You are a major contrbutor for CoD's, so this category: [[Category:Characters of the day]]; will probably help you out.

Platinum Moves

Could you give me a list of the moves with new animations so I can get a better pic of them? Tc26 09:52, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Your Tracey sprite

Do you think you could change the resolution of that image to 80×80 pixels since that's the standard for sprites right now? I tried to do it myself, but I couldn't do it with getting rid of the transparent background. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 02:33, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Platinum sprites

Why do you not use {{Spr 4p}} or {{Spr 4p s}} on them? Chocolate 03:58, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

She probably didn't know. Not everyone knows about such hidden templates. Kenjji, I would like to ask if you can start using said templates. They are easy. First field is the Pokémon name, second is the National dex number. And they are the only thing that needs to appear on the page. Thank you, and happy new year!Maverick Nate 05:31, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Is that for like the summary? --Kenji-girl 20:13, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
It does everything: summery, categories, license tag... it is a time saver! Maverick Nate 20:40, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Is there a version that's specifically for Pokemon with gender differences? --Kenji-girl 04:40, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
There are now. Also, don't forget, it would be {{spr 4p|Gyarados|130}}. You forgot the Pokémon name. And also, the licensing tag is in the template, so you shouldn't do it whenever you upload it. Just the sprite template in the summary. Maverick Nate 04:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

some category notes

The move category is separated: Category:Moves (anime) and Category:Moves (game). Thought you should know the differences. ;) Maverick Nate 05:04, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Category:Delia Ketchum. There isn't one for anime characters. While we are at it. Each Gym leader has their own, not all shoved into one. Maverick Nate 19:03, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Category:Item artwork Maverick Nate 12:51, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey

Don't remove summaries, change them. And also, add them to the pages, they need to be on there. Maverick Nate 19:11, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Move screenshots

Try your best for English ones. Tc26 08:24, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Well, all I have right now is the Japanese Platinum. And I prefer to get the moves from there because some moves look different. If you can direct me to an English Platinum Rom, I'd be happy to. --Kenji-girl 08:35, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Search google. I can't really say here. Tc26 08:39, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Does it really matter that the pictures are English? The point is that we see what the move looks like. If you like, I can photoshop English text in. --Kenji-girl 08:59, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
No, they have never needed to be in English. Our main goal is to get Platinum screenshots. Maverick Nate 12:42, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, I found an English Platinum anyway. --Kenji-girl 22:31, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Favor

Could you add the newly posted Arceus art in 'pedia for me? ...and change it to "Art from Platinum" too please. Tc26 02:44, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Deletion

Never delete an image without changing all the references on the wiki and news. That jpg of Sho was used on two pages even after you deleted it. Make sure to delink the image every time before deleting them. Maverick Nate 14:08, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey

you're doing a good job with categories, but you have neglected the summaries. Can you please start putting them in? Maverick Nate 12:49, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay. But I usually find the pictures self explanatory which is why I don't usually put them. Though I know I should put them for shipping. --Kenji-girl 20:24, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Even if you don't find them to be necessary, they still must be there. Maverick Nate 14:22, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

anime imgs

is only a question..

where do you get thats good quality imgs of the anime? - unsigned comment from Kyokencl (talkcontribs)

Filb. Many of the screenshots I take myself though. But if you want the best without doing them yourself, look no further than Filb. --Kenji-girl 18:51, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

thats all i need to know

thanksKyokencl 04:09, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

A little bit of a late notice, but we've recently changed the naming standards for the trainer sprites, again. The previous ones weren't working that well. Anyways, Spr BW Class/Trainer name.png is the new one. Thanks. Jellotalk 07:19, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

What about Trainers that are either gender? Is it Spr BW Ace Trainer M/F.png? --Kenji-girl 07:23, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Yep, you got it. Jellotalk 07:25, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Volkner

Hey Kenji. On Volkner's page, I noticed that someone placed Raichu's gender as male. You might want to see if there was guessing going on as Raichu's tail was similar to the other ones prior to Generation IV. Pattyman 04:13, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for doing the task. It turned out that someone actually guessed on Raichu's gender. Pattyman 21:07, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

File:116Horsea RS.png

May I ask what guide this came from? It'll help narrow down what exactly the art was drawn for, as that isn't Sugimori's RS art style.--immewnitythemew 17:14, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

That was from the Nintendo Power strategy guide for Ruby and Sapphire. All Pokémon prior to Generation III at the time did not have updated artwork until FRLG came out. --Kenji-girl 05:14, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Animated anime move images

I was just wondering if this could be considered? There are a few images that do not properly show the move being used, and need multiple images to do so (Judgement for example). And it would make the In the anime sections look more in place with the rest of the article, seeing as how the images in the infobox and Other Generations section are (usualy) animated. I don't know the first thing about animating png's and gif's though... Vuvuzela2010 01:20, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking about the idea too. Pattyman 01:24, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

BW044 image

So you uploaded a face of a Purrloin to BW044's page image. I don't think a Purrloin's face is enough to be like a mini summary. I was trying to upload a more comprehensive image but you blocked. Can I have premission to post a new one? The image is like the Purrloin hiding behind a rock while Meowth and Oshawott are laying down in love. - unsigned comment from MickBooterhood (talkcontribs)

Regarding the EP183 image

It was originally being used on the Anime move errors page as it was the debut of Pikachu using Tackle, but it was decided to use the better quality pic. This is the only better quality verison of the EP183 pic I can find, but its not very big. XVuvuzela2010X 11:16, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Crustle's Rock Slide

Can you upload an image of Cilan's Crustle using Rock Slide just for Crustle's page itself? Pattyman 00:49, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

The thing about Crustle's Rock Slide is that it was shown separately from the actual attack. Like the one on the right.
Egan Magcargo Rock Slide 1.png
Not sure if I should upload Crustle, the falling rocks, or both. --Kenji-girl 02:36, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
You can upload both of them so we can get the idea of the attack being used despite Crustle belonging to a main character. Pattyman 02:55, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

MTR

Shouldn't this File:BW043.png have the Meowth (Team Rocket) category instead of Meowth ? It's protected so I can't change it.----DJWolfy 21:34, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Befriended/in training

If a Pokémon is befriended/in training, does it belong to the trainer that befriended/trained it (with the exception of a few)? I saw it with the Tirtouga that Fujio befriended. Pattyman 13:33, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

I don't know if we do that to befriended. --Kenji-girl 22:53, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Turns out that we don't do it to befriended as seen with the Regigigas from Pillars of Friendship!. What about the ones in training whose original owners' names weren't revealed, such as the Altaria from A Meteoric Rise to Excellence! as Wilma is training it for someone else, and the Monferno from Camping It Up! as Angie got it from the Summer Academy and gave it back to them? Pattyman 23:41, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Honestly I don't think we should bother putting names if it is just befriended or borrowed. Especially when they part with the Pokémon at the end. The only reason I would think it would be necessary is if there are two of the same Pokémon who we have pictures of using the same move. --Kenji-girl 11:25, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Very well then (retreats to something else quietly). Pattyman 13:20, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Official Orange Islands, Sevii Islands and New Island map

I found this map with the Sevii Islands, New Island and the Orange Islands. I think it's official artwork from FireRed & LeafGreen. Since it's probably made by Game Freak I don't think it counts as stealing since the site i found it on didn't make it. (I might be wrong, this is the first thing I've ever done on Bulbapedia).

The reason why I'm writing this to you is because I don't have the access nor the knowledge to upload this map to the Orange Archipelago article and I hope that you can do that for me.

Here's the map (it's the biggest I managed to find): [1] PokeAwesome94
