A question
Where exactly did you get this from? Ataro (talk) 02:55, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Duplicating files
Please be a little more careful not to cause duplicates when uploading files. The Black Kyurem C-Gear skin already had a filename: File:Black Kyurem C-Gear skin.png - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:26, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
Categories
Please make sure to categorize images. With Meowth of Team Rocket pictured, this screenshot would use [[Category:Meowth (Team Rocket)]]. ㄱ쉰 G50 11:30, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, I'll be sure to add categories next time. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 11:44, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Pocket monsters TV
Where did you get these images from? I watched these episodes three months ago and I didn't upload the PMTV myself only because I didn't know they were missing, but I can assure you those images are wrong.--CiaobyDany (talk) 17:18, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- We all know that we can't discuss where we watch episodes online or where we obtain them, but let's just say that apparently those 16:9 ones are the ones from the VHS tapes and that these are from the original broadcasts + kids station stuff. So, no, they're not wrong. Just different/alternate. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 13:30, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, first of all it is obvious that the images we upload here derive from Japanese VHS bought online then converted in digital format :-) I also recognise that those images were highly probably original, but taken from another version. The fact is that since all other images are taken from the VHS version, maybe you should ask someone more competent than me if they can be used until the version used in the rest of the site are found. P.S. If your version of the episodes is subtitled, I would be interested in the site you have legally bought it. Sorry for the harsh tones I used above. --CiaobyDany (talk) 15:04, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "found"? I was assuming that everybody already has these episodes. I had the VHS copies before, but I didn't want to upload the screenshots because of the low quality.
- It's not subtitled, just Japanese videos. Apparently, you can watch it on the Japanese Hulu. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 15:46, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay, but since it's the last month of school it's a pretty busy period. However by found I meant uploaded, because I don't think actually everybody has them. However thanks for the site, inconveniently it doesn't work from here.--CiaobyDany (talk) 20:42, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
MS sprites
Where are you getting the MS sprites from? Because I know unless you've gotten the images yourself, the staff won't be too happy if they've been taken from another site. Just a heads up so you aren't wasting your time uploading more. --S2daam (talk) 10:52, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I've gotten them myself. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 10:56, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry for butting in like this, but how were you able to extract the sprites? ht14 10:57, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Also, if they really are your own images, they need to be 40x40 and transparent backgrounds. --S2daam (talk) 10:59, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- A capture card in a 3DS and oops forgot about that. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 11:03, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

- I didn't notice that the categories were added automatically.Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 12:57, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- If it would be possible, could you catch a Pokémon and give it the nickname "Bulbapedia" and then provide us with a screenshot of it? While I don't distrust your word, we have to be a little more careful with sprite uploading as there's been a bit of an influx of image theft thanks to Pokémon X and Y. I hope you understand. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 13:32, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see how that would be necessary. Seems a little excessive. Besides, I only borrowed the 3DS with the card in it. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 13:53, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- We have nothing but people's words that they're using an actual capture card and, unfortunately, a lot of people are more than happy to lie about it to try and bypass the rules. While we don't want to appear distrusting of the userbase, we also have to be extremely cautious that we're not using stolen images. If you cannot provide such a screenshot, I have to respectfully request that you cease uploading menu sprites until such time as you can provide the screenshot. I am sorry. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 14:05, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I am unable to comply with such a ludicrous request. As I've already attempted to explain, I borrowed the 3DS and thus unable to provide with a screenshot of anything else. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 02:21, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- It's not a ludicrous request. We've already had someone confess that they stole previously uploaded mini sprites from another site, so you can understand why we're being vigilant here. If you can't provide a screenshot, then I suggest you do what Kogoro asked you to do and cease uploading anymore mini sprites.--Force Fire (talk) 02:37, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- It is ludicrous, because I borrowed said 3DS but the owner has gone back home now and I can't borrow it anymore! Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 02:39, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- If you can no longer get a screenshot as proof, then you're going to have to cease uploading.--Force Fire (talk) 02:52, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- That is such bs. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 02:54, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- If you have a 3ds capture card then you can provide a screenshot for every Pokedex entry. You are cropping it right? then where did you got the screenshot then????--GASPERshut... 03:15, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- I don't have one, I borrowed one. I only got the Kalos sprites since those were the only ones missing. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 03:21, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- You're not helping your case by continually ignoring a Junior Admin (don't worry, surprised me as well when I realised that I was still a JA) and the Archives EiC requests to stop uploading these sprites as you cannot get a screenshot of them.--Force Fire (talk) 03:23, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Why on earth would I save the whole screenshot, duh, I took each individual sprite and then deleted the whole one. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 03:26, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Then you are not using a 3ds capture tool, because you can not take any individual sprite without taking a screenshot or recording a 720p video then taking a screenshot then without cropping it. The fact that 3ds card are not yet hackable then you are not telling the truth. --GASPERshut... 03:32, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- If you read my sentence properly, you would have been able to tell that I cropped out each individual sprite out of the screenshot and then deleted the original image because I had no more need for it. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 03:36, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Why on earth would you keep the screenshot? For cases like this when you are asked to show us a screenshot as evidence that you have a capture card.--Force Fire (talk) 03:41, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, that totally makes sense. Because everybody should be expected to be prepared for an attack like this. I'll keep that in mind. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 03:43, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- So you're telling me that you didn't think we'd ask about this? You'd think we'd just let users upload anything they want as long as they say "I have a capture card"? There has been a precedence of people stealing from other sites and uploading it here, there was a precedence of someone stealing XY MS sprites from Serebii not too long ago, and you're saying you didn't think that the admins would ask questions? This attitude isn't helping you, and your persistent uploading isn't either. There will be major consequences if we find out you've been stealing.--Force Fire (talk) 03:53, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Well, no. I did not think I would have to deal with a bunch of uptight pricks, no. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 04:03, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- If you only got those menu sprites then you should be uploading a Female Pyroar and a Female Meowstic--GASPERshut... 04:06, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- I never bothered, I didn't think it would be necessary. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 04:11, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

(reset indent) Ok, Force Fire, Gaspershut, cool down. Perhaps Raykyogrou0 is in the wrong. Perhaps not. Either way, you guys should not be talking to him as such. There are better ways of going on about this. ht14 15:24, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- However, to be fair, I'd have to agree with the fact that the minisprites you are uploading should halt for the time being. If you want, if you manage to get ahold of the card again, as Kogoro mentioned earlier, could you catch a Pokémon and give it the nickname "Bulbapedia" and then provide us with a screenshot of it? If so, then we will continue allowing you to upload these minisprites. Also as previously mentioned, we are, as you put it, uptight and excessive, but within reason because we do not want to be stealing images. I hope you understand and I'm sorry that it has to be this way. ht14 15:36, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, Raykyogrou0, that attitude is completely unacceptable. There is absolutely no reason to go on the defensive and attack people who are working extremely hard to maintain and protect this website from theft. It is also not acceptable to disregard a request from the staff, especially from the leader of the project. After further review, I have come to the conclusion that your images were in fact stolen, and they have now been deleted. With all of that said, you have been blocked for seven days for your recent conduct, three days for the theft and four additional days for your abusive behavior. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:02, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, you didn't give up when we got suspicious. At least I managed to confess when I was caught, because of my conscience constantly telling me "I really shouldn't be doing this. This is dishonest.", my maturity, and figuring Kogoro must have known more than me. While I know you can't respond now since you are still blocked, you really shouldn't be that aggressive. I wasn't aggressive. I'm sorry my actions had them go stricter on you, but really, we shouldn't have stolen from Serebii (or wherever you gotten yours from). Thanks to us, the Kalos minisprites have been protected from being reuploaded. We learned one thing, the staff would ask for proof of us having a capture device. SeanWheeler (talk) 04:24, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Other sprites
I truly like your work for uploading all those MS sprites. Once you've done uploading all the Kalos Pokémon menu sprites, would you be so kind to start uploading the missing item menu sprites from X and Y? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:29, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
PS. The animated Trainer and Pokémon (overworld) sprites from X and Y need to be uploded too. Know anyone who could do it?
- No, I borrowed the 3DS with capture card and only took the time to take screenshots of the menu sprites and nothing else.Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 02:17, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
