Thank you, and have a good time uploading here! |
A couple of things
Don't add the {{anipng}}
template to files that aren't animated pngs. That's just plain incorrect; all those images you added the template to weren't animated. Another thing: don't link (or attempt to link) to a non-existent template. Preview the page if you aren't sure whether the template exists. Additionally, don't edit a file page just to add (or subtract; it goes both ways) a space; it's entirely pointless. Please keep these points in mind when editing in the future. Thank you. --Carmen★ (Talk | contribs) 04:23, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Ok, I was wanting to upload images... BiggestPokemonFan (talk) 04:30, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- If you're talking about becoming autoconfirmed, making pointless (and even incorrect) edits is most certainly no way to go about it. --Carmen★ (Talk | contribs) 04:35, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Anime error pictures
Hi BiggestPokemonFan. Unfortunately, your recent anime error upload was deleted due to several factors. Firstly, on Bulbapedia, we prefer .png images over .jpeg/.jpg images for anime screenshots. Secondly, because you did not properly name your file, it could not be posted on its proper page. For anime error images, we typically name them "<Epicode> Error". Lastly, even if it was in .png format, the image was in exceptionally poor quality. We appreciate your contributions to Bulbapedia and its Archives, and encourage you to continue contributing and improving. - Chosen of Mana 05:41, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Images from other fan sites
Regarding your recent upload, our most major problem was that it was clearly taken from another Pokémon fan site. Bulbapedia has gotten into conflict in the past for users uploading content taken directly from unaffiliated fan sites without their consent. As a result, we are very strict when it comes to making sure our content comes directly from the source. - Chosen of Mana 03:43, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
