Seems useful but...
Can someone update it to include Black and White? Thanks! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 05:59, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
No user Pokemon?
In Black and White, many moves zoom in on the target, meaning the user is unidentifiable (Example: File:Karate Chop V.png). Can the template be changed to that "None" can be put in Parameter 2 to get rid of the associated slot? - Chosen of Mana 00:50, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'd suggest you not, when I see a file that doesn't show the user, I use
{{animated}}
so I can track the files that need a reuploading, as I'm trying yo upload animated ones, with the user and target so we don't need pointless parameters; and that way, I can safely add the Mv template. It's up to everyone, though, I'd like to keep it the way it currently is. Masatoshitalk 20:08, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Inserting text before/after Pokemon name
Would it be possible to be able to insert text in the template (such as with the location template)? I was thinking specifically of the Game move errors image descriptions, which could look better with some descriptive text included. However, this could potentially have use in other situations, such as when different forms (i.e. Rotom, Wormadam, etc.) are pictured, while not interfering with Category placement or creation of unwanted categories. Rumble World
Can this be updated to factor in Rumble World? I have a couple screenshots that will need it. Thanks in advance. Berrenta (talk) 02:10, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
Alolan parser
Would it be okay if an Alolan parser gets added to the template for Pokémon in their Alolan forms similar to how we have a mega and primal parser listed on the template for the Pokémon with these forms? Pattyman (talk) 04:01, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
- We should be good to go. Feel free to test it out; lemme know how it works out. ht14 14:55, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: DX
Can PMD: RTDX be added as an option for gen: ? --Xigzagoon (talk) 13:45, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
Incorrect Linking
The template currently links any summary with Sword and Shield in it to the Sun and Moon article instead.

Categorize by Game As Well
Instead of just having Category:Moves (game), which mixes from every game, also have subcategories for each game, like for Category:Stadium or Category:Pokémon XD, have subcategories Category:Stadium moves, Category:Stadium 2 moves, or Category:Pokémon XD moves for example? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 00:48, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, this template probably should categorize moves by game as you said. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 02:02, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- I can't edit the template. What do the other staff have to say about this? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 02:49, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
